Boundless growth, relentless hunt

Outpost

A base that keeps running while you're offline, and the game's only PvP contact. Covers buildings and output, the Garrison, raids and shields, revenge and scouting.

Your Outpost is a base that keeps running while you're offline — and it's the only place in the game where you meet other players head-on.

When it opens

It opens at level 20. The kinds of buildings you can build grow with the cities you conquer — clearing Seoul unlocks nine, and the other eighteen are added one or two per city.

Buildings

There are twenty-seven buildings, and each one goes up to Lv.20. However, no building can rise above your Hearthfire — the Hearthfire is the rank of your whole Outpost, so whatever you want to upgrade, raise the Hearthfire first.

Up to Lv.10 you only need Gold and materials. From Lv.11 on, you also need Conqueror's Sigils. Sigils drop only from Elites you defeat while exploring, and can't be bought with Gold. That means you can take buildings to Lv.11 and beyond only as far as your own hunting allows.

You can run two construction jobs at once, and upgrading the Relay Station raises that to four. If you'd rather not wait, you can finish instantly with Gold — but the price scales with the time remaining, so the fast way is not the cheap way.

Output

Gold and materials accumulate only while you're away. There's no output while you're logged in — but in exchange, nobody can raid you during that time.

The Storehouse sets how much can pile up, the Refinery sets the Gold multiplier, and the Gathering Yard sets how many materials you get.

Outpost Gold is a bonus for time spent away, not a replacement for hunting. Spend the same time exploring and you'll earn far more. The real value of your Outpost isn't the Gold — it's materials and potions piling up on their own, plus the discounts the twenty-seven buildings apply across other screens.

Materials can't be raided. Fill them up with peace of mind.

While you're away

For as long as you're offline, potions pile up too. The base cap is 24 hours' worth; upgrading the Sanctum raises that cap, and upgrading the Trading Post makes more pile up in the same time. Your boots' journey speed also stacks on top.

Garrison

Your garrison has four slots (one Captain and three Guards), and you choose a class for each. The Barracks sets the highest level they can reach, and the Armory sets the grade of gear they're issued. However, your garrison can never exceed your own character level.

Training takes time. You can also raise them to the cap in one go, but that costs four times as much.

The Trap Field blunts raiders. The stronger the attacker, the more it takes out of them, so it's especially effective against opponents your garrison alone would struggle with.

Raiding

You can attack the Outposts of other adventurers who are not online. If you succeed, you take a share of the Gold they've stockpiled — though the portion stashed in their Hidden Cache is off limits.

Your own Outpost can be targeted the same way. Leave your garrison empty and you'll lose that much more. Nobody can attack you while you're online, and there's a daily limit on how many times you can be raided. Players who've been away for a long time drop out of the target pool entirely, so taking a short break won't leave you picked clean.

There are two kinds of Shield

  • After you're raided once, a short Shield is applied automatically. It keeps you from being raided back-to-back. However, Revenge pierces this Shield.
  • A Shield you deploy yourself can't be broken by anyone for its duration. You get them from level milestones or the Premium tab in the Shop, and any you don't use stay in your balance.

Revenge

Every raid against you becomes a Revenge ticket. You can strike back at whoever hit you, and when you do, you break through the automatic Shield they got after being raided.

Scouting

Before you attack, you can scout to check your target's defenses. Charging in blind just loses you resources. Upgrading the Beacon Tower increases the number of candidates your scouts bring back.
