Union
A single organization every Adventurer on the server belongs to — no joining needed. Covers Supply, Joint Objectives, the Hall of Contribution, the Exchange, ranks and exclusive Blueprints.
The Union is a single organization that every Adventurer in this world belongs to. There's no joining process — once you reach level 15, "Union" opens in the main menu, and from then on you're a member.
The Union's two values
The names are similar, but they're opposites in nature.
| Union Points | Union Merit | |
|---|---|---|
| Nature | A balance that goes down when spent | A record that only ever grows |
| Earned from | Hall of Contribution · Joint Objective rewards | Hall of Contribution · Joint Objective rewards · crafting Union Blueprints |
| Used for | Union Exchange · crafting Union-exclusive Blueprints | Nothing to spend it on. It raises your rank |
Union Points are shown at the top right of the screen, next to your Gold.
Supply
Three lines are laid out every day: one of Gold and two of potions. You can act on each line only once a day — either claim it now or bank it for later.
The Supply day turns over at midnight Pacific Time (PT) — the same moment the Joint Objectives and Exchange below reset.
The longer you bank, the bigger your next claim becomes (it steps up at 3 · 7 · 14 · 30 days, with 30 days as the cap). But if a day passes without pressing either, only that line goes back to the start. The three lines' streaks are independent, so skipping the Gold line doesn't make the potions vanish too.
The two potion lines get new potion types every day, and the two never overlap. They're drawn from recovery, attack, mitigation, elemental amplification and elemental resistance. Of these, only elemental amplification is picked to suit your class; for elemental resistance, the day's element isn't fixed.
The size of your Supply is set by your rank. Supply doesn't add Union Merit.
Joint Objectives
Three daily and three weekly objectives run side by side. Dailies are posted fresh every day at midnight PT, and weeklies every Monday at midnight PT.
The whole Union fills each objective together. Your usual hunting, gathering, crafting, conquering, Spire climbing and offerings all count as contributions automatically, so there's nothing extra to do.
- An objective must be achieved for rewards to come out. A round that's only half full gives nothing.
- Even if it's achieved, you can't receive a reward if you didn't contribute yourself. A passing brush isn't enough — you need to fill 1/50 of the target to reach the eligibility line.
- Rewards are split into three tiers based on how much you contributed; the higher the tier, the bigger the reward.
- Objectives you can claim stay there with no deadline, so you can collect them later.
Rewards are Gold · Union Points · Union Merit · elemental Essence and materials, and the top weekly tier also includes Blueprints or Otherworld Chests. Items are determined by your level at the time of your first contribution, so you won't end up sitting on high-level materials received at a low level.
Hall of Contribution
Three items the Union currently needs are posted, and every Adventurer fills them together. Requested items are drawn from the goods most stockpiled on the server, so just hand over what you have too much of. Sometimes whole pieces of unequipped gear are requested.
You get Union Points for what you hand in, and a fifth of that accumulates as Union Merit. There's no reward paid back in items. Once a slot is full, a new request is posted in its place right away.
Union Exchange
The place to trade materials for other materials with the Union Points you've saved. The details are in Union Exchange.
Ranks
Your rank rises as Union Merit accumulates. There are fifteen ranks, from Novice Member to Union Elder for Life, and ranking up doesn't consume anything.
As your rank rises:
- Supply Gold and potions increase, and the potion grade goes up
- A multiplier applies to the Gold and Union Points you receive from Joint Objectives
- Rank-exclusive consumables and Otherworld Chests are added to Joint Objective rewards
Union-exclusive Blueprints
There are two high-level accessory Blueprints you can only craft with Union Points (a necklace and a ring). You pay Points instead of Gold, and this crafting also adds Union Merit.
Your rank doesn't affect the amount of materials or the Union Merit itself.
